I'm coming back in about 2 weeks

I know I have been away for so long but since AX is going on, Things have been happening. MM arrived in the US on Wednesday and this is the third day of Anime Expo. The winner of the OPV contest is an American duo. Go a couple posts down to see the winning video. Paul from Hello!blog is in LA and he is reporting back on his experience at his blog.

I'll try to get back here in about 2 weeks once my vacation is over. Don't worry, i'll be coming back soon everyone.

Taking a break

Since there hasn't been alot to post about lately, I will be taking a break from blogging for a while. I'll still be viewing other blogs like I always do.

Morning Musume OPV contest

Morning Musume now has an official page at MySpace which was just launched and to commemorate the launch, From now until June 19th, Morning Musume are conducting an OPV contest. You can make a PV for the B single "3, 2, 1 BREAKIN’ OUT!"

Try making the promotion video for 3, 2, 1 BREAKIN’ OUT! the coupling song of Morning Musume's 39th single "Shouganai Yume Oibito". Using a combination of the free distributional video footages of the members and other footages, make a PV to your liking by matching the video to the music clip being distributed starting from scratch and express the image of the song with self-made animations and more.

It's all up to your taste to see what kind of PV you can come up with.

The submitted materials will be judged by producer Tsunku and the members of Morning Musume. The results will be announced at the Anime expo 2009 in July.

I never thought this day would come, anybody in the world to make their own PV for the B song. There are people out there that I know could make a great PV. My German friend makes videos, he has made some videos and I wonder if he could make a PV. If I get a chance I should ask him if he will do one. But anyway this is your opportunity to get noticed by Tsunku and Morning Musume for your work on making the PV.

Shouganai Yumeoibito is #1

Well the new MM single came out today and it has topped out at #1 on the Oricon chart. This is also the first single that is being released in the United States by Japanfiles.com I don't have the CD just yet but from what I hear, the song is a slow one but is really good. Oricon for top 3 singles also gives you the sales numbers for that day. The single sold about 23 thousand copies on it's debut.

H!P Website Redesign
